Samourai is a full Peruvian male by Somerset Peruvian Black Reign out of a very fine female I selected on the 2001 trip to Peru, Margarita. Margarita was 16 micron at 4 years in Peru and has still maintained a 20 micron fleece at 8 years of age in Australia.
Samourai is a strong boned, compact male with a dense fleece growing good staple length and is fine and even throughout. He starts work this season so we look forward to his progeny.
