At Pejo Alpacas we are proud to offer a new generation of
black alpacas in New Zealand.
This excellence in black genetics has come from the hand selection of alpacas in Peru to breed with the descendants of legendary males such as Highlander, Inti, El Dorado, Drambuie, Auzengate, Pele, and Julius.
We have created a foundation black herd that offers consistently fine, lustrous, dense black fleeces which are reflected in each generation. By selective breeding between ancient and modern lines, we are creating a new depth of genetics in the black herd in New Zealand and developing that most exquisite of fleeces - black alpaca.
